Site check with a level and grade rod before we quote. Written proposal with the slope and landing plan. Forms checked against the standard before the pour. Broom finish for traction, with handrail sleeves set where required.
Recent ADA ramp work: Harmony at Bellevue
Customer: Harmony at Bellevue, a senior living facility at 8234 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
Scope: demo and haul away a 5 by 20 foot section of the existing concrete sidewalk, then install a 4 inch thick, 5 by 20 foot two way ADA concrete ramp connecting both ends of the sidewalk.
Finish: broom. Days on site: two. Equipment and materials: forms, gravel, concrete, dump trailer and skid steer. A landscaping company handled the landscape repair afterward.
The board at Harmony at Bellevue decided an ADA ramp for the facility was long overdue. TriStar Concrete Construction removed the sidewalk section and poured the ramp in its place so residents have an accessible route from either direction.
